DIY - Aisle Runner

So tonight I have been looking into how to do an inexpensive aisle runner for at the church. I think that I can get a cheap one at Michales (with a nice lace like pattern to it) and instead of paying $350 for getting an ugly, non custom, monogram on it - I have contacted 'Pen Press' to see if they can do printing/silk screening on the runner. If they cannot do it directly on the runner I was thinking about looking into the possibility of getting a large clear sticker made of our logo and date and then simply sticking it down onto the runner. I have also seen where they glue a ribbon all the way down the length of the aisle runner to make it look more fancy! So lots of good ideas (and if I can avoid painting a monogram on all the better!)

This is the Runner with the Ribbon on the edge.

This one starts at $350! So Lets see if I can't Make my Custom runner cheaper!

I finally put together a collage of our own engagement photos. I am always making them for other couples but never us. I am thinking about getting it custom framed (when frame go half price at Michales) and then doing the same square format of our wedding photos. They will be nice custom pieces for on the wall at home and I like that you can show multiple photos at once (instead of choosing just one!)

My friend Jenn took this photo for us and I thought it would be great to make it into a poster! Great for an online 'Save the Date' or can be used for a 'Jack and Jill' invitation/Poster!
