Whole Punch Tin Can Candles!

So I had a brilliant idea for candles for the dinner tables at the wedding, or at least something I still think is a brilliant idea (we shall see)! When I was a kid I remember making an 'old fashioned' whole punch tin can candle at Battle Field Square in Stoney Creek, and I thought that making them and then spray painting the cans copper would create a nice rustic and homemade detail to the tables at the reception!

When looking into them online I found the great tip of filling the empty can with water and freezing it before attempting to punch wholes into it with a hammer and nail. This way the can itself doesn't dint and the whole you punch are much more clean!

So I am excited to get started and I already have a bunch of people starting to collect tin cans of all sizes for me! For the tables I mostly want the soup cans - But I also can use bigger cans as well as apple juice cans for the sign in table and for extra decor! So if you would like to donate your tins as well I'm sure I could use them!

Here are some pictures of what they might look like - and I want to do different patterns as well (Hearts, stars etc.) - I also want to put little handles on them as depicted in the centre image:

Collage of Our Engagement Photos:
I finally put together a collage of our own engagement photos. I am always making them for other couples but never us. I am thinking about getting it custom framed (when frame go half price at Michales) and then doing the same square format of our wedding photos. They will be nice custom pieces for on the wall at home and I like that you can show multiple photos at once (instead of choosing just one!)

My friend Jenn took this photo for us and I thought it would be great to make it into a poster! Great for an online 'Save the Date' or can be used for a 'Jack and Jill' invitation/Poster!
